Construction Schedule
The construction schedule has been finalized and is listed below. The start of construction will be an exciting time to watch your course improve with new holes and a huge new driving range. With this schedule we will have all 18 holes available until July the 8th. Then after that there will still be 17 holes available for play until late July early August with some minor changes to yardages. We are also opening the existing driving range next Saturday 3/16, two weeks earlier than in previous years to allow for longer play before we are forced to close it.
The schedule below is where the contractor will plan to be at each point of the year. This schedule may change slightly due to weather but can be used as a general guide.
The schedule below is when the membership can begin to see the changes in hole availability. We will begin to see hole closures around July 8th, with #10 green being the first to get renovated. After that, work will begin in the valley of #1 and #10 causing the tees on #1 to move forward. Around the July 29- Aug1 timeframe we will begin work on the new driving range causing #4 and #5 to close. After that the contractor will move on to renovating #7 and #12 greens in Mid-August. At this point we will have 14 or 15 holes available for play, and we will be playing to temporary greens on #7 and #12 allowing for play to continue on those holes alongside construction. When all of this work is completed, it will require all fall and winter to grow in. We will open back up with the full 18 holes in the spring of 2025.
The Board along with our architect have worked hard on this schedule to make sure that as much of the golf course will be available for play for as long as possible. The way they worked it, we will have 17 holes open for play until almost August. That is much longer than we had previously anticipated. There will be some inconvenience as we get this project finished, but the end product will be worth it.
